Is my data private?

Yes. Verodd is local-first. Your bets, money, and tax inputs are stored only on your iPhone; we never receive them. The one thing the app sends us is a privacy-safe lookup (a game + market + pick, no name or amount) to fetch the historical closing line that grades a bet. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.

How do I import my bets?

On the Add tab, choose Import and pick a CSV exported from your sportsbook (DraftKings/FanDuel native exports and the popular bet-history extension are auto-detected; a generic format works too). You'll review every parsed bet before anything is saved. Note: sportsbook exports don't include a closing line, so imported bets arrive ungraded until you verify them.

What is "verified CLV," and how do I grade my bets?

CLV (closing-line value) measures whether you beat the market's final price, the best single signal of betting skill. For ungraded bets, tap "Verify my CLV" (History → Ungraded): Verodd looks up the independent historical close from a licensed odds source and grades the bet. Only verified closing lines feed your public-facing stats and share card. We never let a self-typed number inflate a skill stat.

Is the tax feature actual tax advice?

No. Verodd's tax engine gives you a well-grounded set-aside estimate (federal progressive brackets + a representative state rate, including the 2026 OBBBA 90% loss cap) and a clean CPA hand-off, but it is an estimate, not tax advice. How do I delete my data?

Open the You tab → Delete all my data. That erases your bets, progress, and tax inputs from the device. Because we never stored them, that's the complete erase. To remove an email signup, email [email protected].
